National Talkblack 011019

On todays National Talkblack via NIRS – NIRS – National Indigenous Radio Service we had:

Aaron Smith from Torres News telling us all the good news this week. Young Charlie Chris who took out the Australian champion 10 year shot put! Charlie is also in a wheel chair but that doesn’t stop him from competing with the able body competition. Also the Multi cultural festival was recently and also the Remote Indigenous Media Festival.

Leesa Watego from Black Coffee – Indigenous Business Network who is currently at the Supply Nation Indigenous Trade Fair in Brisbane today. But more importantly it is Indigenous Business Month is a way of providing positive role models for young Indigenous Australians and improving the quality of life in Indigenous communities through business.

We also had our regular National Talkblack callers adding to the conversation 😄
